NIA  Nehemiah Isaiah Assignment

NIA is a female contemporary gospel group birthed in 2006 at New Vision International Ministries in Bridgeport CT.  NIA members include:  Tameika Bennett, Regina Clarke, Sheana Elliott, Cassandra Herring, and Gillian Wilkinson.

The purpose and mission of NIA, an acronym for Nehemiah Isaiah Assignment, is to repair, rebuild, and restore the lives of all (non-believers and believers) to Jesus Christ-Isaiah 58:12.

NIA’s sound is eclectic and unique- a fusion of contemporary urban gospel and the soulful sounds of jazz &  R&B.  Musical favorites range from Yolanda Adams & Cece Winans to Natalie Cole & Ella Fitzgerald. 

NIA has just released their new single, Brand New, which is available online at I-Tunes, Rhapsody and Amazon (just to name a few). They are currently in the studio working on their album which will be completed in late 2009.
